IRS Will Extend Audit Time Where Needed In Transfer Pricing Practice, Danilack Says

Under an Internal Revenue Service pilot program to conduct transfer pricing audits using its best examiners, the Service will extend the time needed to develop the issues where necessary, Deputy Commissioner (International) Michael Danilack said April 15.
Expanding on his explanation of the IRS’s transfer pricing practice pilot at a District of Columbia Bar luncheon, Danilack said the IRS will attempt to work within the normal audit process on pilot cases, including the estimated completion date.
